Greetings,
Here is our line-up for this Saturday January 16th, 2010 (4pm-7pm.)
Hope to see you here
2008 La Matiniere Crozes Hermitage Blanc, France
Very clean and fresh marsanne-roussanne combo. Very accomplished fruit. Nothing heavy or earthy about it. Framed by marsanne austerity, angles. Soft centered roussanne completes the harmonious package.
2005 Wakefield Jaraman Riesling, South Australia
Delivers restrained power with ample tight acidity and citrus flavors while the Eden Valley fruit adds a touch of mineral complexity. The resultant wine shows flavors of fresh lemon, subtle kaffir lime, a steely mid-palate with cleansing acidity.
2005 No. 1 Red Lot 205, California
This is a lush and plush everyday quaffer, made up of three varietals – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon , and Petite Sirah Aromas are , rich and ripe with lush, inviting plum, black cherry and fig fruit, bolstered by toasty, cedary oak and suggestions of black tea and mocha spice. The palate impression is equally ripe and generous, offering roasted black fruit character with sweet tobacco and cocoa notes. Just $9.99
2008 Carraia Aglianico, Sicilia
This fruit forward red shows rich plum, berry and chocolaty oak character on a full body, with fine tannins and a soft finish. A great value!
2007 Puydeval, Vin de Pays D’oc - France
60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Syrah, and 10% Merlot, this is absolutely gorgeous stuff for the price. The Cab Franc is perfectly ripe; a happy balance between the mineral and herb rich. The fruit is very bright, dominated by blackberry and black cherry. Medium in weight, there is a fine element of white pepper, licorice, and schist.
2007 Goat Roti Syrah, South Africa
Offers a nice plush texture, with juicy blackberry and boysenberry fruit flavors laced with dark toast and fruitcake notes. Stays fresh on the finish. Syrah and Viognier.
