Plum Island White Wine – Rowley, Ma
Mill Valley Winery, right down Route 1 is producing some great little wines. Their Plum Island White is light and semi-sweet with aromas of pear, citrus & honey.
2010 Four Vines Naked Chardonnay, Santa Barbara
“Naked is Four Vines expression for a No-Oak style of winemaking. The fruit was fermented in 100% stainless steel and not put through malolactic fermentation, in order to maintain the natural acid balance. The Chardonnay exhibits crisp apple, white peach, and pear, finishing long with hints of citrus and mineral.”
2009 d’Arenberg “The Hermit Crab” White, Adelaide AUS
The nose is expressive and rich with orange peel, candied ginger, apricot, and citrus notes. The Marsanne shows itself in the peach and nutty complexity which is married nicely with an appealing straw like vegetal character. The palate has a lovely balance of sweetness, palate weight, and acidity. Lemon and lime characters are prominent on the palate with a lively granny smith apple acidity providing great focus.
Plum Island Red Wine, Rowley MA
Plum Island Red Wine is blended to achieve an ideal combination of crisp berry fruit and light tannins. The result is a style of wine that is smooth and approachable. Serve slightly chilled by the beach, by the fire, during a holiday party or after work.
2010 Red Handed Cabernet Sauvignon, California
Aromas of blackcurrant, dark plum, wild berry and dried herbs are found on the nose of our Red Handed Cabernet Sauvignon.
